Proofreader required by Marketing Agency in the Cotswolds – £20 to £35K
- Proofreading copy to check all spelling and grammar
- Proofreading text against client copy
- Ensuring that the house style is applied on all documents
- Ensuring a good quality of all deliverables to clients
- Using appropriate writing styles to make content easy to understand for the targeted audience
- Planning and recording time, meeting deadlines and working on multiple projects
- Writing clear, persuasive, original copy or edit existing copy
The desired candidate will have the following experience to be selected for interview:
- Degree educated or equivalent
- 2 years of editorial/proofreading experience
- Highly literate with some demonstrable writing ability
- A good verbal communicator, able to liaise with senior team members
- A good working knowledge of all MS office applications
- A knowledge of InDesign would be advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- An ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- A knowledge of the Financial Services sector would be a bonus
